I did not have any overweight friends. I was considered skinny.

We were healthy except for things they hadn't cured yet.
(I had a friend...

YOU: The News is All Good

Today's Headlines:

Beagle, a Breed Long Unsung, Wins Best in Show

Snoopy would be pleased. His breed, long passed over for glory, had finally triumphed.

“He’s the most perfect beagle I’ve ever seen,” Jones said at a news conference, where Uno hopped on the judge’s legs trying to get at his water.

YOU: and Manners

How important are manners in our daily dealings with people? Our co-workers, friends, and family?

Within my family, extended family and acquaintances manners still seem to be alive and well.
Even my three year old grandson knows ... "No thank you" and "Please".

But from reading at various boards I'm not sure our slice of the world is representative of society in general.

Quote I read recently that impressed me:

a home is also supposed to be a mini version of society where kids learn re love, give/take/,
