My first blog adventure.
YOU: and Manners
How important are manners in our daily dealings with people? Our co-workers, friends, and family?
Within my family, extended family and acquaintances manners still seem to be alive and well.
Even my three year old grandson knows ... "No thank you" and "Please".
But from reading at various boards I'm not sure our slice of the world is representative of society in general.
Quote I read recently that impressed me:
a home is also supposed to be a mini version of society where kids learn re love, give/take/, communication, co-existence, patience, honor, integrity, and so many other things. the home and family is supposed to be a training environment. we see it in nature with animals. they teach their young, because one day they wont be around to take care of them, etc. imho, it seems animals do
a better job than many humans now.
