Beginning Week 4

Posted 11-16-2009 at 11:00 AM by hunting for result
Today starts the 1st day of Week 4 (a full 3 weeks completed) and for the most part, completed as recommended. My biggest challenge is the events that are required for us to attend due to my husband's political doings.

Thursday was Habitat for Humanity Gala and the food was soooo good; Friday another event to attend, however the food wasn't that good; they had salad (made of lettuce), Vegetable Medley (did not eat the carrots) and ham (had one slice, but really don't like ham and it is so high in sodium); Saturday am, I took a water pill because of the ham and Saturday night, we...

Week 3, Day 2

Well Week 2 saw a loss of 1 pound. Was hoping for more but I am okay with any poundage off. The second week was suppose to be like this, so I guess I am normal. The schedule planning is beginning to get normal and for that I am glad.

I have been able to stay away from chocolate (my greatest downfall) and can really say I am not craving it one bit. I do drink "chocolate" shakes when I do shakes.

I am averaging between 70-80oz of water per day, but the exercise has got to happen. I have a meeting tonight but plan on coming home and exercising after that....

Week One Journey - Good and Bad

Posted 11-05-2009 at 08:00 AM by hunting for result
Week one started on 10/25/09 and the first 3 days where brutal. Severe headaches was the worst part, and the stop of "grazing" during "meals" was the hardest habit to conquer. Although I never felt hungry, I continued to want to put food in my mouth between meals. I never did, but caught myself opening pantry closet and refrigerator. I kept myself motivated with the scale plunging and that helped me stay in control. The first 5 nights was a continual run to the bathroom. I was not a big water drinker, but am getting my water in now. With this plan, you need to eat 4...

Start of a new life

Posted 11-03-2009 at 11:43 AM by hunting for result
Well, I did it, started my Weight Loss challenge on 10/25/09 with a week of deplete associated with Wendy Chant's "Crack the Fat Loss Code"; I couldn't get my hands on a copy of the book, but did read Wendy's second book "Conquer the Fat Loss Code", which gave me some background info on this plan. The only thing it didn't specify was the "deplete" week. Then I posted here and Mary responded and got me into the forum for CTWLC and with their help was able to master the first week. By the way, the book did arrive on Day 5 of Wk 1, so I have since read and re-read...

Breaking the Weight Loss Code

Posted 10-18-2009 at 06:37 PM by hunting for result
I need to do a week of Deplete prior to anything and Conquer the Weight Loss Code does not say what is involved with Deplete other than I need to do a week of it. I so much want to start this lifestyle however NO store in a 60 mile radius has "Crack the WLC" and was told that this 2nd book would give me all the info but that is not so..Wendy Chant even says it in Chapter 1 that the book will work whether new or old to her program. So now what do I do?
