Finally busted through 232!

Posted 04-02-2008 at 11:03 AM by GreenEyesofOakland
After a week of eating whatever I felt like (which was definitely less than what I "felt like" eating in the past) I kicked my butt back into gear and started on Induction.

I've been having a couple hardboiled eggs for breakfast, a big green salad with some hb eggs, bacon and cheese for lunch, and meat of some kind for dinner, with perhaps a salad or peanuts in the evening.

I haven't been able to get past 232.0 for months. Today, I was ecstatic to see 231.2 on the scale this morning! In 0.2 lbs, I get to change my avatar to the 30 lb club. Hooray!

If all goes according to plan, I'll break through to the 220's tomorrow morning. Of course, the body is a mysterious thing, and sometimes, even when we do everything right, it doesn't respond as we think it should. But I'm just gonna eat right today and not worry too much about it.

I also went to kickboxing last night. As it was my first time back in the gym in like a month, I wasn't in top form. I tried though, and didn't give up. I'm going back next week and will be even better. I'm also planning to go on a walk with my friend and her dog this week, so that will be activity #2. I'm ramping up to train for the Bay to Breakers 12k in May. I'll be walking it, but would like to jog some of it to make sure I average a 15 minute mile.
