Day 8 and back on track

Well I missed posting on Days 6 & 7. Day 6 went fine. Day 7, not so good. Let's just say I got thrown into a trance by the hot donut light at Krispy Kremes. Then, since I'd already fallen down, I decided to eat all the stuff in the house that had been calling me all week. It only amounted to a handful of lays potato chips and a handful of milk chocolate chips, but way too much all the same. As far as binges go, not to bad.

Back on track today but scared to weigh. I'll wait until Monday.

Day 5 Getting it Right

184.5 today. Down from 190 on Monday. I am on target to get to my 10 pound in 2 week goal or even surpass it! I've done 5.5 pounds in 4 days! I love lowcarbing. Who knows, maybe I can do the 10 pounds in 1 week! Stay tuned.

I intended to workout today, but that didn't happen. So after eaten a good bit of salt for the last few days, I wouldn't be surprised if it showed on the scale in the morning. I will be at the gym first thing in the morning.

B: monster energy drink, grilled chicken, olives, almonds

L: stir fry veggies & chicken, hot...

Day 4 "Getting it Right"

Smooth Sailing! Just kidding. This requires a lot of willpower. Eating carbs comes naturally to me. If I don't consciously tell myself not to eat them, cookies will be in my mouth and half chewed up before I know what happened.

Still going down. Todays weight: 185.5. Hoping for 184 or lower tomorrow.

Worked out today at the gym with my fitness coach. I'm getting VERY strong. I love it!

Menu today:

Breakfast: low carb monster drink, turkey sausage, tangerine
S: marcona almonds
L: Salad with olives, cheddar, grilled...

Still Day 3

No headache yet. No real cravings to speak of. Everything is going smoothly. My lowcarb plan includes somethings that others don't , though always lowcarb. I think that is what is going to keep me going for the long term this time.

Breakfast: Oopsie roll with egg, cheese & sausage

L: hot & sour soup, chicken with veggies

S: 7 olives and 1oz of cheese


Probably more salt than I need so I'll watch it for the rest of the day.

Day 3 "Getting it Right"

Good morning all!

2 full days under my belt and its going well. I haven't had any desires to cheat. Hope it sticks.

I ran 3 miles on the treadmill last night. I just realized about a week ago that I could run that far without stopping. I have been working out with a fitness coach for about 7 months and the workout is really hard. I am getting strong (never been strong before) and my endurance is getting better but we never run for distance so I was unaware that my endurance had gotten this good. I am psyched!

Actually this discovery is what convinced...
