A New Scale....My Armor is On!

Posted 07-15-2008 at 06:25 PM by gjet68
So I decided to go out and purchase me one of those expensive new fangled, Weight Watchers Digital Scales. A first ever for me. I opted to spend more this time just to show myself how serious I was and am I ever Glad I did! I cannot beleive how much I weigh right now! I know the evening time is the Worst time to weigh yourself but I needed to get a starting weight for myself. So here are the results:
Beginning Weight: 256.6 lbs (OMG I cannot believe I am that big now!!!)
My Body Fat or BMI is a whopping 44!!! For some reason it wouldnt measure my Bone or H20...whats up with that? It kept giving me an error message. My son has decided to do this with me also, His name is Josh and he is 17. He currently takes quite a lot of meds which have made him gain an excess amt of weight. So his weight tonight was: 213 lbs with a BMI of 31.8 and the H20 was 4.98 and Bone Mass was 8.8, So I have no clue if the Bone Mass and Water Content are normal or not. I think the scale was suppose to tell us somehow but I havent learned how to work it just yet. I started eating healthier this afternoon, wll get a full days start tomorrow. But for lunch I chose a healthier option. This time of night (8:20 p.m) is when I usually get the cravings to just sit and eat. So, Im feeling quite full right now, hopefully Ill maintain that feeling until i drift off to slumberland.
