My Introduction

Welcome to my Blog. I am going to take the first post and introduce myself to everyone. My husband and I have been married for a little over 20 years now. We are retired childrens pastors. We just bought our first home, completley paid for so we could retire. Or so we thought..lol Anyhow, thats another story. We have a daughter age 18, who got married in March of this year and had her first baby, a girl, Lillianna Rose, born on June 23, 2008 at 28 weeks gestation. In spite of being premature by 3 months, she is doing fine. We also have two sons, ages 17 and 15.

The reasons I want to lose weight are many. First, I know that my health depends on it, I have quite a lot of medical issues that are directly related to my weight. I am morbidly obese. I also want to lose weight so that I can play with my grandchildren and care for them and not get winded. I only have the one right now, But Im sure there will be others in the years to come. I want my children to have many more years with their mother as well. And I want my husband to look at me with those eyes he used to look at me with, again. He is so good to me, he has never, not once, ever made any remarks about my size. He says he loves me just the way I am and always will. BUt sometimes I think he is just being nice. I would like to suprise him with my success.

I hope to be able to stick to it this time. Ive read the SB book from cover to cover and Im ready to begin tomorrow! Best wishes to everyone else here!
