FINALLY--food that tastes good!

Posted 07-24-2008 at 08:25 AM by fluffybear2
After trying Medifast, Nutrisystem and various other diets, I have finally found a plan with really great tasting food. While Atkins food tasted good (why not its mainly REAL food) I found it restrictive. I can eat just about ANYTHING on the Mediterranean diet. That doesn't mean it's a good idea, but there are no real hard and fast rules. It is not a diet you can "fall off the wagon" on. It's just good advice on how to eat healthy. To be honest, the so-called "Mediterranean Diet" is not what most people think of when you say the word "diet." Sure you can lose weight on it, but only if you don't pig out on pizza or overendulge on olive oil. You still have to be sensible. But a little goes a long way with this style of eating. You get filled up fast, so you don't want to be a human garbage can. Anyway, some of the delicioso food I have been having includes: pasta primavera, lemon fish, ratatoulle, almond stuffed dates, ciabatta bread dipped in olive oil, Greek salad, chicken parmesan, etc. Yum-o!
