Now that is not a very original title, but about all I can come up with. Let's see how this blogging goes. Seems like it would be simpler to just blog instead of journaling.
Today, I have had about 24 carbs. Not bad. Been back to this woe since January 3rd and so far have lost 20lbs. Stats: 306/286/145. Praise God that I have bid farewell to that 300 mark. I am also praying to one day bid farewell to the 200's --
Today we went to a transportation museum (one of my son's favorite places). Missed the train rides -- they do not do as many in January and February and were just a bit too late. Stayed and went through most of the buildings and the roundhouse. Walked for about 1.5 hours. Was not very fast walking until near the end when we had to rush to get to our car -- we were supposed to be out of the grounds by 5 pm -- when the gate was locked. Felt really good while walking and was even able to rush without too much difficulty.
Recently was diagnosed with diabetes, but all tests have been normal since this woe. Also, recently diagnosed with high bp. So here's hoping and praying that when I go back to the Doc for my two month checkup, I will get to eliminate the two medications I just started.
Got to figure out how to do some photos and stuff later.

Not sure why I cannot go to sleep-- am exhausted. Anyhow, getting some reading done and am very inspired by the success stories. I am so ready for a healthier me. My son is 3 years old and I want to be alive to hold my grandchildren. Got lots of work ahead of me and am going to use this blog as a tool to keep my self motivated and also to record my progress.
