A Red-Letter Day!

Sometimes, though, that road contains disappointing detours. Today I finally reached the end of a long detour and got back on the main path!

January is Fat-Free Living Month!

I'm a news junkie. I often flip from news channel to news channel on the TV, checking out the different takes on the news of the day. In the last few days I've been seeing features and discussions about January having been proclaimed "Fat-Free Living Month" by the USDA.

There are no "different takes"...

Introduction

I started this as the introduction to a blog, and it ended up as nearly a full-length book. I don't know if anyone will read all the way through it, but I'm putting it up here anyway, hoping that someone may -- and may get something useful out of my musings on why I believe my low-carb way of life is the only reason I'm still alive now, at almost 70 years of age.
