Tough morning

I'm tired and I'm in and out of the kitchen every few minutes this morning seeing what I can have a pick off. I'm not even hungry so WHAT AM I DOING? Get out of the kitchen lady and stay OUT.

God, sometimes I am so self sabotaging it sucks.

Ooh I am a very good girl

Went out with hubbie last night to the movies. It's still our favourite thing to do when we have a night off from the kids. Anyway, I was such a good girlie. I avoided all the junk that I normally have - usually a large diet coke, large mixed popcorn and a bag of minstrels - all this, whilst my husband sat next to me working his way through as much food as is possible to shove in his mouth (he is 6ft 6 and the leanest man I know.) I didn't feel tempted one bit. I'd eaten some lovely roast chicken before we'd headed out so I was feeling nicely satisfied. (Note to self - this is a useful aid...

Still in ketosis

I still have the metallic taste in my mouth and smelly pee so think I'm definitely in ketosis even though I've not tested with the sticks. As promised to myself, I've not weighed in yet. I've also been exercising more and in a week have been swimming 3 x, done a body conditioning class and did pilates this morning.

I'm planning to weigh myself in another week, although clothes feel the same and not loser so think I've not lost anything yet.

I've decided to stop using fitday, unless it's to look up the carb count on something. It was making me too obsessed with...

Good day today

I've not been using fitday today as my hubbie has been working from home and hogging the laptop. I've kept to induction though and just been feeding my hunger so am feeling good. Pilates was great fun too and I'm proud of myself for keeping up the exercise. Swimming planned for 7.30 tomorrow morning.

Up with the birds

I'm awake nice and early. I just had a small egg cream (we only had one egg left in the house but food shop arrives this morning) and a tin of sardines for brekker. So that meal is taken care of and I feel nicely satisfied. This marks day 2 of clean induction until holiday to Crete. As well as following induction by the book I am also going to do the following:
  • exercise everyday. this doesn't have to be a hige amount and can include walking but i intend to be active. so far i swam for 40 mins yesterday and this morning i am doing 1 hour of pilates
  • not weigh myself until tues
