Tired but getting excited

Posted 08-01-2008 at 02:57 PM by emslight
It's been a long and jam packed day today but on the plus side, I did lots of walking so I can at least tick that box. Ran around like a bit of a nutter getting organised as this w.e. hubby and I are going away... WITHOUT THE KIDS! First time we'll have left little miss rubes (6.5 months). I'm feeling OK about it, in fact, I am getting quite excited about a w.e. off and the chance to let my hair down at a cool festival just outside London. Not sure if I'll be able to stick to plan - I'm just going to do my best but will also enjoy having a few drinks and partying.

So... Mon's weigh in might be a bit of a disappointment but hopefully all this exercise will balance things out.

(Still have this god awful metal taste in my mouth. It comes and goes depending on what I eat, if my stomach is full etc. Weird thing is, when it goes, I want it back as I then panic I'm no longer in ketosis. No pleasing some people, huh?)

And so, to bed. I need a good night's sleep now. Kickstarting the day tomorrow with a decent run and hearty breakfast, then lunch with the girls before we head off. After that, it'll probably all go downhill until Mon again. Ooops. Keep telling myself, it's just like the 80/20 rule but I'm not sure if that applies to Atkins.
