Just done a liver flush

Posted 07-22-2008 at 02:33 AM by emslight
Have done a couple of liver flushes in the last week. Been wanting to flush out some stones that have been niggling me and causing me discomfort after eating certain things - mainly eggs. It's been an interesting experience! First flush produced about 70 stones of different sizes and mainly bright green in colour. I'm still going through the second one at the moment and so far this morning, have produced a fair bit of gunk and stuff that looks more calcified as well as a few stones. Will see how the day pans out but have kept it quite clear in case I start to feel rough...

There does seem to be some debate about whether the 'stones' are indeed stones or just a form of soap created by the olive oil/lemon juice cocktail. I have no idea but I figure, it can't do me any harm. Certainly, the colon cleanse alone has been brilliant to do and I feel so much lighter for doing it and I'm hoping that I'll start to feel less discomfort after eating eggs.

What's interesting is how, when you get into this woe, you just want to tackle everything about your health. I feel brilliant. The cravings have gone, I'm less tired (despite having a baby that wakes me up at 5 every morning!) the weight is starting to nudge in the right direction and now I want to just sort everything - make sure I have fats that are beneficial, like flax and co; make sure I'm getting in good benefical veggies; make sure my body is functioning as efficiently as possible - you name it. I feel totally energised and just want to share this with the world! I'll keep it to my blog for the moment though.

My husband thinks I'm bonkers but little does he know that he's my next project...
