Ooh I am a very good girl

Went out with hubbie last night to the movies. It's still our favourite thing to do when we have a night off from the kids. Anyway, I was such a good girlie. I avoided all the junk that I normally have - usually a large diet coke, large mixed popcorn and a bag of minstrels - all this, whilst my husband sat next to me working his way through as much food as is possible to shove in his mouth (he is 6ft 6 and the leanest man I know.) I didn't feel tempted one bit. I'd eaten some lovely roast chicken before we'd headed out so I was feeling nicely satisfied. (Note to self - this is a useful aid and something to do before I go anywhere where temptation is put in my way ie/ canape party etc.)

The funniest bit of the evening had to have been when I tried to kiss my hubbie and he told me I had catfood breath! Crazy thing is, I didn't even care as I though to myself yippeeee I MUST be in ketosis. How ****ed up is that? Very. (Ahem.) Luckily I had a bit of gum on me that help sort out that problem quickly.

5 days to go until our holiday. Being strict with the carbs and am averaging about 15 for the next few days and no dairy either. Exercise planned for everyday until then too. Then, onto the scales on tues morning to see how I'm doing.

I'm aiming to keep on plan whilst away with the only modification being a couple of glasses of white wine with an evening meal. I've always been somone who has exercised a lot whilst on holiday - swimming/walking everyday and using the gym so hoping this will counterbalance some of the alcohol intake.

(P.s. I tried on my bikini last night and I suprised myself by thinking... I look OK. Apart from the slightly large and comedy breastfeeding mamas, I am nearly back to what I was before, with a bit more of a wobbly belly. But, phew, managed to totally avoid any stretch marks/surplus skin after 2 babies so feeling, yep, dare I say it, OK.)
