London is just sunny sunny sunny

Hip hip hooray. Another beautiful sunny day and I don't have to go to work because I'm on maternity leave. Yeehah!

All is good but I had a slip up on Sat and cheated with ice cream and too much low carb chocolate. I don't know why or what provoked it... I think I'd lost count of my carbs because our internet was down so I wasn't using fitday and then I kind of got confused and it turned into a WTH kind of moment when my hubbie came in with ice cream (on a glorious hot sunny day). Next morning my tummy felt bloated, like I'd gained a load of weight (too scared to get on the scales and check) and it's still not back to normal this morning either. But then the weird thing is, I still had the metallic taste in my mouth during the day yesterday. The one that I've been associating with ketosis. So how the hell did I manage to eat so many carbs and not kick myself out of ketosis? Or did I just kick right back in whilst I was asleep in the night and then back on track in the morning? Who knows. I'm sure the scales will tell me when I do my weigh in tomorrow.

Apart from that, we had another wonderful BBQ yesterday and I managed to eat totally on plan and even turned down the opportunity to drink some fizz (boy that was hard.)

Right. Garden is calling. Feeling really full after an egg cream and a bowl of flax 'cereal' for brekker this morning so hoping this will see me through a good few hours until a late lunch.
