I hate winter

I knew it was coming, but it still doesn't help my mood. It's in the 30's windy, and overcast. I can already feel SAD kicking in, so I'm going to get my light machine out today and start using it. I got I some cardio this morning while Paige was at pre-school, and I'm going to try a yoga dvd tonight. I have an appointment for Thursday evening to be evaluated and start treatment for the chondromalasia in my right knee. I hope it's not too bad. It's been so hard having to greatly reduce my workouts. I was told to try pilates and yoga, but I'm not into stuff like that. I guess I'll have to, but I really hope I can still do my other workouts, and incorporate a little of the yoga and pilates.

I've been so bored and lonely lately. For so long the voices took up all of my time, and thoughts. Now that the voices are gone I have so much time, and nothing to really do with it. The weekends are the worst. I volunteer during the week, and do a lot around the house, so it's not too bad but the weekends are so boring. There's not much to do, and then the kids being home all day adds to the frustration. I'm working with dh on different things to do to help withthe weekend boredom. It's jsut hard wit the weather getting crappy. When it's nice out we'd go to the zoo, different parks, and the water park. Now we mostly stay inside. We do some crafts, and play some games, but it's not the same. That only takes up so much time. I wish there was some place I could volunteer on Saturday afternoons, or if there was a college class I was interested in.

Anyway, my MP is still fine, and I've stuck to it 100%. I'm doing everything my nutritionist and therapist are asking me to do, and it's wonderful that I can do it, and it feels so natural. I jsut wish I could find something to do to help with the boredom. I signed up for a ceramics class, but it doesn't start for 2 more months. Plus the class is during the week, and I really would like to have something to do on Saturdays. I'll have to keep thinking, and in the mean time do my best to get through the weekends.
