It's freezing!!!!!!!!!!

I am so not ready for winter. It's in the 30's and overcast today (20-30 mph winds). I'm freezing my butt off, and this is just the beginning. Oh well. I'll have to deal.
I got my cardio in and am proud to say I stuck to an hour, and I have not used the hr monitor since Tuesday. It's getting easier and easier, and I think some of it is habit. I've had that hr monitor for 4 years, and am so used to it. It's funny when I'm working out, because I keep trying to check my hr monitor, but I don't have it. It's such a habit, but even today I noticed the number of times I went to check it was far less then even yesterday. I'm also leaving my workouts at an hourw hich is really hard. I had been doing 1 1/2-2 hours a day every day, but I know that's not healthy and probably not something I can or want to keep up the rest of my life. I already have a bad back, arthritis in both feet and my right knee all from exercising too much. It's not worth it, and it's so freeing to be able to stop at an hour and not worry about the calories burned on the hr monitor. It's also a relief not having a scale in the house. It's not there anymore to dictate what day I'm going to have or my worth based on the number that the scale shows. I'm free of all of that, and it's amazing. I'm living my life for the first time. I'm thinking about so many other things, and I'm enjoying my time with the kids more, because I'm able to focus on them. I don't have those voices clouding my mind and my judgement.
Life is finally feeling good, and worth living. I see the light now, and am finally making healthy and wise decisions.
