I hate winter

I knew it was coming, but it still doesn't help my mood. It's in the 30's windy, and overcast. I can already feel SAD kicking in, so I'm going to get my light machine out today and start using it. I got I some cardio this morning while Paige was at pre-school, and I'm going to try a yoga dvd tonight. I have an appointment for Thursday evening to be evaluated and start treatment for the chondromalasia in my right knee. I hope it's not too bad. It's been so hard having to greatly reduce my workouts. I was told to try pilates and yoga, but I'm not into stuff like that. I guess I'll have to,...

So tired

I hate Mondays. It's so hard to get back into the weekly routine. Anyway, Chloe's at school, Paige is napping, and I'm relaxing. I did the dishes, worked out (While both kids were at school), and all I have left is to go to the store later, and then see my nutritionist tonight.

Anyway, my progress is continuing and I feel great. I got rid of the scale and heart rate monitor last week, and I have not restricted or b/p since I started seeing the nutritionist a few weeks a go. The MP has been a God send. I never thought it would work for me, but it's the exact opposite....

It's freezing!!!!!!!!!!

I am so not ready for winter. It's in the 30's and overcast today (20-30 mph winds). I'm freezing my butt off, and this is just the beginning. Oh well. I'll have to deal.

I got my cardio in and am proud to say I stuck to an hour, and I have not used the hr monitor since Tuesday. It's getting easier and easier, and I think some of it is habit. I've had that hr monitor for 4 years, and am so used to it. It's funny when I'm working out, because I keep trying to check my hr monitor, but I don't have it. It's such a habit, but even today I noticed the number of times I went...

Good day

I started out really tired, and I felt like I was just dragging. I got Chloe's lunch together, did her hair, got her on the bus, got Paige ready for school, made breakfast, and then dropped her off. I was going to take a bath or relax when I got home, but decided to try to workout instead. I did an hour of cardio and 10 minutes of cool down. I felt so much better afterwards. I picked Paige up after that and made lunch. We also picked a ton of leaves and have them in a gallon bag. Now we're just relaxing in our jammies. Paige ran and put them on when she got home, so I did the same. ...

Fat day

AAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok, I just needed to get that out. Why oh why do I try on clothes I know there is no way I could fit into? I ordered my favorite jeans in an 8 and they came today. I've been wearing the 10's for a few weeks. I ordered 8's because I can't get them anymore at Carson's or Macy's, so I ordered them in case I can't get them online later either. I decided to try them on just to see hwo close I was to being able to really fit into them. HUGE mistake. I could get them up, but they were super skin tight, and I was short by 1/2-3/4 inch when trying to even button them....
