Trying something a little different

Posted 07-31-2009 at 06:59 AM by dbglasgow
Doing great.. scales haven't moved the past 4 days but that's ok.

I'm not getting hungry after b'fast. I eat a light lunch and then almost force myself to have a small dinner so I'm going to try the Fast-5 plan. Eat everything within a 5 hour window in the mornings and then fast for 19 hours. I think this fits my lifestyle and I'd rather not have to make myself eat.

This sounds interesting! I've never heard of this. Myself, I eat about 4pm, probably 70% of my calories. Then leave for work at 7pm. I do not eat for the whole 8 hours.

Then when i return home at 4am I have a tiny protein snack.

So I fast approx 10 hours/day in addition to my usual 8 hour fast while i'm asleep.

I have many overweight diabetic & prediabetic friends who say they "have to eat every 2 hours" because of blood sugar problems......

REALLY?
Stop eating the cookies/cakes/pie every 2 hours & maybe then you won't have high blood sugar or hypoglycemia......

Let us know how your program is working! It sound intrigueing......

Hi Darlene, wow, you are from Helena. I am from Cullman and my sister lived in Helena 25 years, her children are Melissa,Dennis, Cheryl & Jayson Clay. She now lives between Montvallo & Calera. So neat that y'all are missionaries, our church here supports missionaries in Belize. Our little church has a heart for missionaries, we support 220 missionaries. May the Lord bless y'all and meet each need you have. Jane Thomas
