OK, so the office across the hall had a pot luck today. AKA early Thanksgiving. I hated to be so unsocial but I just didn't go. Unfortunately, I've never met a carb I didn't like! I know this will sound bad, but......... I already plan to eat the bad stuff on Thanksgiving. I just don't want to eat badly everytime someone has some holiday reason. So, I forwent the lunch. Missed out on pumpkin cheesecake with candied nuts and carmel sauce! Oh well, after Turkey day AKA evil carb day I will be back on induction. At least until Christmas Eve!

I figure that if I don't ever...

AGGGGGH!! I just want to vent here. 12 days on induction 7lbs gone. BTW I'm happy about that. But, for some reason this is feeling like a rough day. I have visions of icecream and chicken strips! Oh well, I must keep on keeping on. Some days it's just hard though.

I'm new here, but not new to Atkins. I've tried it before, did really well for about a month. Then I just couldn't eat another egg!! I know I should have just took a break and went back on induction. But, I didn't. Instead I gained my lost 15lbs and another 10 for good measure.

Now, my recent bloodwork reveals that I am pre-diabetic. Great! My blood pressure is going up, and my triglycerides are high. So now I'm totally headed for fat, diabetic, high blood pressure chick on cholersterol meds. I DON'T THINK SO!!! I don't want to be another stereotype....
