doesn't understand Diabetes or low carbing!
As long as I keep the carbs low, under 10 grams for a meal and 5 for a snack, my blood sugar is beautiful. I'm okay with that for the most part but man, some days its a real pain in the tush.
This morning when I awoke it was 81 and after breakfast of a scrambled egg, 2 slices of turkey bacon and 2 cups of coffee with half and half, it was 112, a little higher than I like but acceptable. But man, what I'd give for a slice of toast! One slice of whole wheat toast would generate a lovely spike, though, one that would take me...
