Just recently I have rid myself of old ways and ideas. I cannot understand for the life of me why this weight business has to be so difficult! It comes so easy for some and for others it is a pain in the ass, and I daresay that it is quite annoying. I suppose that I will need to take it in stride and accept my journey, for this is what this change is, a journey. Putting self first for once, a definite reachable goal.

Interesting how life tends to leave its impact on our minds, hearts and bodies, transcending all that we have come to know and understand. I will not lie, I have said in the past that I will do this, lose the weight to only to chuck it all to hell. But there is something different this time, I am not simply saying it, I am doing it, in all aspects of living and it feels good, peaceful and calming. One thing holds true now...I am not alone here.
