This is where I start to lose it. I weighed in today ata 165.2. Yesterday I was 164.6 or so. I know it's most likely a normal weight fluctuation, but this begins a crazy cycle of second guessing myself and then restricting myself and then worrying about my eating... all which is not good. When I weighed in, I started to think about the steak I ate the night before. It was sweet, which makes me think it was cooked in a sugary sauce. If that's the case, I hope it didn't bump me out of ketosis. One positive sign is that I was not necessarily craving anything sweet today (so far). Just one more day of the first 2 weeks... but I plan on continuing on.

For the record, I have been on every diet in the history of mankind (basically) and my weight goes up and down 157-170. So the most recent time I hit 170 was when I started Atkins. Now I'm at 155. I really won't be excited until I get out of this "normal range." But I am happy so far...

I am at the library now, trying to find the energy it finish up a research paper. It's cloudy and rainy... no fun.

B: 2 eggs, 1/4 cup (1 oz) cheese, 2 stalks of celery, decaf w/ 1 oz cream and 1 sweet n low
L: pork chop, 1 oz cheese, 1 cup cucumber, decaf w/ 0.33 oz cream and 1 splenda
D1: hamburger, 2 stalks of celery, 1 oz mozzerella stick
D2: chicken, 3 oz cream w/ dash vanilla, dash cinnamon, dash cocoa, 1 packet stevia, 1 oz cheese, 1 tsp fiber

So I overdid the cream today. A total of 4 oz cheeze, 3 cups veggies, 3 sweeteners, and ~4.5 oz cream!

We'll see what the scale says tomorrow!

Hi Kelly,

I'm popping in to encourage you to stay the course with this WOE. I think the scale plays tricks on us . Try to focus more on inches lost and the way your clothing fit. Take care and I'll be back daily to check up on you.

I'll be doing an extended Induction until I get out of the 190's. We can do this .
