Still no weight loss. The only thing I have done is add some broccoli. I am really bloated and feel terrible. I dont think its agreeing with me. I will leave it alone for a few days and see what happens TOM is still a couple of weeks away so I dont know why the sudden stall. I havent had anytime to exercise so if it stops raining I will go for a walk. My body seems to like induction so I will have to get back to 15 or less carbs a day and see what happens. Can alot of gas make you weigh more? Hope to see results tomorrow.

No weight loss for 2 days Im not cheating or doing anything wrong so I have to be patient. I am finding a 1/2 hour after I eat I am too full so I will cut the portion sizes in half now. I hoped to be 190 by the end of this month but I dont think it will happen From what I have read my body may be adjusting to the sudden weight loss or my fat cells may be retaining water. I know the scale will eventually move. We have really high winds here so no walking today. Well its shower time and then off to chemo again. Everyone HAVE A GREAT DAY

Really Stressed

Recently we found out that my oldest brother has stage 4 lung cancer which has spread and his wife is terminal with the same cancer. she is bed ridden and wont be able to do chemo or radiation but he is doing both. I am the one taking him to all of his treatments and stuff and it is so hard to watch someone you love go through this. I feel like I am re living losing my father to cancer 11 years ago. We live far from everything so the driving everyday is hard on me. I know this has nothing to do with losing weight but I need to get it out and I dont want my brother to ever feel as if his a bother...

Feeling Good

What a nice surprise this morning. I woke up an weighed in at 197. That means 2 more lbs gone. Only 7 more to my nexy goal of 190. Every time I see the scale move, I get even more incentive to keep on going. I am hoping after I lose more people will really start to notice. I wish I knew what I weighed when i bought the cute clothes in my closet so I would know when to start giving them a try again I wont try too soon because I dont want any disappointments yet since I am losing. I think I was probably around 180 so I will wait on that and wait til the clothes I am wearing...

Getting Smaller

On 1/8/08 I started at 219 lbs. Today, 2/13/08 I reached my first goal of 199 lbs. I am really excited. To everyone just starting Atkins, it really does work. My daily diet consists of 3 scrambled eggs for breakfast, a can of tuna with mayo only or a piece of chicken breast for lunch and a small lean steak or burger patty for dinner. Oh yes and the minimum of 150 oz of cold water everyday. After I lose 15 more lbs I will begin to add some vegetables. Dont forget to add a good multi vitamin every day. Atkins does work if you follow induction properly. For the last week I am losing 1/2-1 pound a...
