Train Wreck City-April 4th 2008

Today I am a bloody train wreck, I went to University on an empty stomach (very bad idea). I'm so terrible in the morning when I have an early class. It's hard to give myself enough time to maintain basic hygiene, let alone make a SB friendly breakfast. I'll work on that...I didn't end up going to the gym, as I had a major assigment due today and I was up all night tweaking it!
As I came home from University, I was just about there when I slipped on this huge patch of ice and landed on my knee. I have one really sexy black and blue knee look out!
I feel terrible

Well I actually made it to the gym yesterday. I thought by going at 8:30 PM it would be dead. Boy was I wrong...it was a madhouse! I couldn't get my favourite elliptical machine with the T.V to see who they kicked off Idol...I found out when I got home...oh well. I was so sore from the day before which limited my workout. My legs just didn't want to give much, so I did a 21 minute workout within my target heart rate for fat burning, and followed it up with 20 minutes of weight training, and ended with the core work on the ball..overall I'm pleased with my performance!

B: 2 fried eggs, with salsa and 1 LF cheese string;water with crystal light single
S:none
L: Improvised chicken soup with LF "cheese string" noodles!
S: Sugar free popsicle (not too sure if it's phase 1 friendly but dammit I was going nuts!)
D: Mcdonalds quarter pounder minus bun;minus ketchup+side salad w/paul newmans caeser (used very sparingly)
Mcdonalds guilt....
My boyfriend was ordering mcdonalds so as i sat here starving and salivating at the thought of a bit (okay alot) of fat that would fill me up.. and fill the present hole in my head.....

So today I'm feeling just weird. I've been back on the beach for 4 days. I know my body is getting rid of stuff, but I feel so miserable, especially at night, as I'm trying not to eat 2 hours before going to bed.. I hate it. Im a starving, unemployed student in serious debt, which is making it really hard to find the extra money for SB friendly items. I quit a thankless call center job which felt really good at the time, but now I'm kind of kicking myself
I'm doing my best though, and hope to find a job very soon. The only thing I had left in the cupboard today was some chicken...

A new me!

I'm really excited about starting the South Beach with a different attitude this time around. I'm so sick of reality T.V where I sit there watching everyone else succeed whilst scarfing down empty calories! This must stop!! Although I can't control myself sometimes..(those reality shows are highly addictive)...grrr....My goal is to set mini goals for myself. This week I plan on drinking a lot more water, and really paying more attention to what I put in my body. When I don't pay attention (ie. eat in front of the tv) I tend to overeat and it gets just plain ugly!
I have to learn to do...
