TGIF!

Woo! Long weekend! No work until Tuesday .
I really love working at the lab and it's great experience, the long long days and actually having to work lol.. is not so great lol.
My supervisor offered me a job for when my placement is over . I need 2 years lab experience so I may take him up on it, I get on so well with everyone there, I feel like I've been there years, not 2 weeks, and I'm getting used to everything and learning how to do everything now. He said I can work during the summer and other holidays, basically whenever I want until I graduate and then carry on after...

Exhaustion hit today- hard. 2 hours in at work and I had literally no energy, I was falling asleep, felt dizzy and sick, and had to go home at 2. I keep skipping meals and I cut down what I was eating too dramatically too quickly, and doing exercise too, not sleeping much = not a happy bunny.
Gonna trust my mum for a couple of weeks, she lost over half her body weight doing LC, without obsessing over the numbers so much. So I'll listen to her, if I stop losing weight or gain then I'll rethink but yeah, I can't carry on making myself ill.
Bit pathetic that at 21 years old...

Today has been a LOT better. Work was good, really good. I wasn't expecting it to be how it has been so far, I expected to just be like, sticking stickers on boxes or making cups of tea and coffee, but they have actually trained me in how to do practically everything in the lab, and are now letting me get on with it (I still ask a million questions because I'm terrified of messing something up but as one of the guys I work with pointed out, I'm asking to confirm what I already know.. it's not because I DON'T know).
The food police weren't at work today saying "OMG are you ONLY...

I've had a really hard day, it's just been an emotional rollercoaster, and long. I've done ok with food though

B: Bacon, 2 sausages & mushrooms
L: 2 dark rye Ryvita w/butter, and peperami
D: None yet because I just feel sick..

Way too much coffee, but no alcohol, although I could kill for a bottle of Vodka right now.

I walked to my work placement from the train station (almost 2 miles) in 25 minutes (IN THE RAIN! AND at 8am!). I'm doing a 5 week work based learning module at university, so I'm working in a microbiology lab for 5 weeks....

Good Week

I weighed myself today- 7.6lbs down! In a week! That should keep me motivated for the next week .
I started writing down exactly what I was eating and what is in it, and have realised that most of my carbs come from milk. I live on coffee and can't drink it without milk. 20g of carbs in a day, just from my coffee... more carbs than I want to be having in a day (then like 14g from food... so 34g overall and 14g too much!).
Cream has less carbs but SO much more fat and calories which scares me..
I ordered some Ketostix online so I'll wait until those come and if I'm in ketosis...
