Today has been a LOT better. Work was good, really good. I wasn't expecting it to be how it has been so far, I expected to just be like, sticking stickers on boxes or making cups of tea and coffee, but they have actually trained me in how to do practically everything in the lab, and are now letting me get on with it (I still ask a million questions because I'm terrified of messing something up
but as one of the guys I work with pointed out, I'm asking to confirm what I already know.. it's not because I DON'T know).
The food police weren't at work today saying "OMG are you ONLY eating Ryvita AGAIN, you know, not eating carbs is DANGEROUS". I gave up arguing with them after day 2, now I just roll my eyes at them and leave it at that..
The guy I mentioned before asked me if I wanted to do some acid testing lol I said what? I get to take acid???!!! His reply was "no.. it has too many carbs...".
Anyway I digress..
B: 2 soft boiled eggs (I think I may have poisoned myself... never cook eggs at 5am) w/butter.
L: Salad! Not Ryvita. Ham, lettuce, a tomato, cucumber, 1/2 pepper and a tbsp mayo.
D: Nothing yet.. I don't know what to have cos I'm already way over my carb limit because of the milk in my coffee
again.
S: Coffee.. with milk! (x 10..)
I got my Ketostix and it does go purple, but not the darkest purple.. the one before the darkest one... argh.
I walked to work again today, a bit slower than yesterday (took me 40 minutes to walk 2 miles and it only took me 25 yesterday), and, I burnt more calories walking slower for longer.. that's just a bit weird..
. Oh and I found it hilarious last night that 10 minutes of skipping burns the same amount of calories as my 25 minute 2 mile walk... so I skipped for 10 minutes as well yesterday lol.. my legs know about it today!
