I said I'd be honest -right? Well OK, I lapsed a bit (on day one ). I live in Turkey and it is the custom to take food to neighbours but the plate mustn't be returned empty. While I was in the UK neighbours had brought food for DH and I came home to a pile of plates. Yesterday I baked some rock cakes to fill the plates for their return. I confess I kept some back. They were delicious. I was naughty, I know, but.... Oh, what can I say! I didn't feel too bad about it, not the sort of bad that derails me.

Lunch waas a tuna mayo creation where I added a little chopped tomato and chopped pepper. I served it on a bed of sliced lettuce and it was very nice.

I weighed myself this morning (I am like that) and I have lost a few pounds of ugly water, it seems.

Dinner was lovely, I did seabass with courgette chips, runner beans and grilled tomato.

Today for brekky I fried some Banvit Chicken roll with half tomato and an egg. I have no idea what carbs are in the chicken but it may be the best option financially and carb-wise as bacon here is very expensive. Will scour the shelves to see what is available when I next shop.

Glugging down the water whenever I think of it, not to the point of feeling uncomfortable though.

Feeling positive.

Day 4, the round up of the day.

Well I guess today wasn't too good Atkins wise. Firstly I had to go to the hospital without having brekky. I forgot to take my chicken to the hospital to eat after the blood test. I had chicken donner meat for lunch with a pitifully small salad. Drank as much as I could. Then had a cheese omelette for dinner with tomato.

Just didn't feel hungry. I'd be surprised if I have eaten 20g but I just don't want to eat. I am certain I haven't drunk enough but I am trying to rectify that now. Maybe I will be OK tomorrow.

Mood. Kind of screwed up. I am not sure if it is hormonal or if I am just hacked off at the fact that if I have the op it will cost us money we can't really spare. This is not life or death. It is quality of life, I suppose.

Plus we have that b' awful journey on monday for the test, which I know I need and will not back out of, but its going to be a bad day.
