Deb's Journal
Trying to set this up as my own journal about my journey to weight lose and better health.
I have been following the Wendy Chant Crack the Fat Loss Code program since July 7th and have lost 15 pounds in 6 weeks.
Better than that, I have gone off my diabetic meds and and loving the program. I am exercising and chosing the right carbs for my body but loving my cheat days also and having exactly what I want. I do not feel deprived in the least and the scale is responding.
I am in week 7 which is maintenance for 2 weeks, then off to do the plan again for another round of weight loss.

Ok so I blew my maintenance day 2 with a cheat day but my weight stayed the same so I will shake it off and carry on.
I really hate maintenance since I was so use to the macro cycle. Can't wait to get back to that cycle. |

Hmmm put on a few pouinds after cheating for about a week. What the heck happened there.
I was about to start maintenance week for a break then restart the plan but in maintenance you have to wait until the weekend for a carb up day and I got overwhelmed about waiting that long and started cheating. So I am skipping the maintenance and going right to the restart. I love the macropatterning part of the plan with carb up days on Wednesday and Saturday. I absolutely can stick to that part of the plan. |

Hey Deb, that is what I decided to do too. I think when I loose the weight I want, I will continue to do some sort of cycling, just cause I think I will do a better job at it than just plunging in to eat whatever. I skipped maintenance altogether and started back at week 2 yesterdsy (Mon). I still would like to lose quit a bit more as I only dropped about 6 lbs. No exercise was probably the main reason, but maybe too much tweaking too?
Congratulations on getting rid of the diabetic medication! I know just cutting mine back was a thrill! My last round of tests about a month ago made me disappointed until my diabetic coordinator told me that I was only one point from what is considered a "normal" reading for a non-diabetic! Keep up the good work and Congratulations! Connie aka Mischief1 |

That is awesome Connie. What exactly is a normal AC1 for a diabetic? My last one was 6.1 and doc said that was great but I have read online that to prevent organ damage we should be around 5.
