Day 1

So today is the first day of my low carb lifestyle. I have done low carb before, 6 years ago actually, and I lost 50 pounds and have kept it off. I am ready to take off the rest. My current weight is 222, I'm 5'9 and just ready to let it go. I have a man who absolutely loves me, a great job, but my health has always been an issue, well we want to start trying to have kids, but I can't carry a baby with all this excess weight. I'll be turning 29 this year and have decided that maybe my lack of motivation will be cured by writing this blog. Knowing that other people are reading this will help me keep on track. Today is the first day and I'm already thinking about carbs. I know I'm addicted to food, but the addiction is out of control with carbs. I could sit down and eat an entire pizza if I want to. In fact writing about it is making me want to order a pizza, gosh how funny. What is the deal with wanting carbs? Sometimes I hate the fact that I can't be one of those people who can eat a whole pizza and not gain a pound, but I'm not, and lets face it I never will be. The first two weeks of this is going to be hard. During the week I have no problems saying no to carbs, the weekends kill me though. You can only work out so much, and since I'm traveling right now living out of a suitcase there is only so much you can see and do, boredom is my problem. Yep its here! AAAHHH! BORED and all I do is want to eat because of it. Will power is the key. Thanks for listening.

Welcome, Amazonmagic! It is great that you maintained your original LC weight loss. I am impressed because so many people seem to regain when they stop paying as much attention. Good luck over the next couple of weeks. I'm sure your carb cravings will subside a bit as you get a little further into the plan. Have a great weekend and keep posting. I ALWAYS read the blogs!
