Okay, so I wanted some stew and kind of kept experimenting until this is what I came up with.

It all started when I thought Glen's had beef roasts on sale B1G1F. They didn't. So I settled for some stew meat. I browned it in butter; and while I let that sit a bit, I looked through my fridge and found some very sad looking zucchini that I didn't want to go to waste. (Zucchini aren't cheap in Michigan in the middle of the winter!) So I cut them up and threw them in the crockpot, added 3 cans beef broth, 2 cans mushrooms, 1 large can diced tomatoes (juice and all), the aforementioned...

I don't know how much I'll post here - I tend to get real gung ho about things and then forget about them...

Anyway, I'll try to make it consistent.

My goals this week:

• Win our Family Biggest Loser round this week - I lost by 1 pound this week!
• Only drink pop at lunch - water the rest of the day
• Plan out menus at some point during the week
