alove4cangles, looks like your keeping the carbs low! I stand in awe! I am not quite as low, which unfortunately is not true to the '72 induction... Coffee is tough to kick. I have been coffee free now for a few weeks. The first week was intense. I just tried to accept the fact that I was going to feel like worn down. And I did!

However, I am a firm believer in kicking one bad habit at a time. I cut caffeine (moslty diet sodas, but coffee was also a BIG craving) before inducting this time. The diet soda link (though not definitively the diet soda - researchers speculate that us diet soda drinkers may not eat as well we should) to increased health risk prompted me to rethink my addiction to diet dew and diet A&W (which are awesome by the way).

Anyway, consider cutting the diet soda down after your rolling good on your current plan. While I did not have too many issue, I did read on this site and others that caffeine can intensify cravings.

Also, thank you so much for your kind post! Hopefully we can get these pounds shed! It is a struggle, but this site is awesome! See you on the blogs.
