Scale/Bad...Measuring YES!

Well I posted that I feel like I have lost weight but that , the scale is back and forth. I don't feel that 14 pounds for the first month, as big as I am , is all that great!

I weigh weekly ( okay sometimes more then that) and was planning to measure every 45 days or so, I was just putting it off because I didn't want to be disappointed by that too!

You know we all get a number in our head that we want that scale so show and when it doesn't or worse it shows a gain, at least for me, it is like a HUGE smack in the face!

Well thanks to "Houston Heather" , I decided to measure and BOY am I GLAD I did!

I am down 20 INCHES!

Now I measure:
Neck
Upper Arm R and L
"mid" Arm R and L ( just above my elbow)
Wrist R and L
Upper Bust
Full Bust
Under Bust
Waist
Abs- the HUGEST part of my spare 18 wheel truck tire)
Hips
Upper Thigh R and L
Mid Thigh R and L
Calves R and L
Ankles R and L

I had a ring sizer from an old Avon rep and would always start every plan writing down my ring size but darn if I can find it. I hope I do soon!

So I realize that I still am brainwashed by the numbers... the scale numbers made me sad, depressed and some of the measurement numbers did too until I added them all up...total!

So I am going to try ( try being the KEY word) to NOT weigh or measure for 2 weeks. This is also important because I plan to add some activity and I know that any time I add more activity there can be a jump in the scale temporarily!

I do know that NOT exercising in the AM made me draggin' butt all day so far! I feel like I am walking through quicksand or something....darn Curves for taking the day off!

Also, I NEED to read the book but to be honest I would rather go to the dentist then sit and read a book....at least it would be over quicker. LOL

I am seriously thinking about getting it on audio...I bought the book, brand new the other day and would have that as reference for the more important lists and such but use the audio book for all the explanations!

So that is my 4th of July! I wish everyone a HAPPY, SAFE and of course ON Plan day/weekend!
