The journey to good health

I returned to the low carb way of eating on July 10th, 2009. I've been reading a lot of research on various websites and lurking around many of the message boards. I think I finally have a pretty good understanding of the "High fat, Low carb" WOE. I feel confident that a VLC plan works best for me. I realize that this WOE is not the "norm" for most people but I try to research anything that I am interested in and I also pray about it.. I believe in included God in everything. How to fit it all in?

I've been revving up the fitness routine and now I'm having trouble fitting in everything I want to do. So I'm making up a new schedule to start as soon as my Triathlon is over.

Monday:
AM - Abs, Swim Laps
PM - Strength

Tuesday:
AM - Abs, Run
PM - Bike

Wednesday:
AM - Abs, Swim Laps
PM - Strength

Thursday:
AM - Abs, Run
PM - Bike

Friday:
AM - Abs, Swim Laps
PM - Strength

Saturday:

Another Day

I am very pleased to say that I have made it through to another day. I am committed to making me the best me I can be. I have felt so ashamed of myself for gaining back 50lbs of the 120 I lost about three years ago. Joining this support team has allowed me to see that none of us are alone, we all have our problems issues and triumphs. It is wonderful to be able to share with folks who understand.

I'm going to supplement my nutrition with:

Water

Light salt for electrolites

Daily Vitamin

300 calories 70/30 beef to help absorb fat soluable vitamins.

I am still going to try exercise.

I want to shoot for 1 lb a day so we'll see what happens.
