I am Katrina

I have been doing Atkins actively since summer 2005. Originally I weighted 155 pounds. I eventually went down to 115 pounds. This was a little thin for me, (I am 5'5"), mostly because I am a pear shaped woman so my face and upper body became quite gaunt.

Thin and healthy, young with lots of vitality is where I need to be. At 115 pounds I felt still felt fine-but looked fragile.

I went through a tough couple of years and had lots of stress. I became somewhat lazy in my habits and am now 129 pounds. This is a little heavy for me. As I stated previously, I am pear...

Best omelet I've ever had!

Today has been a great day. I walked about 1 mile at lunch, then finally drug my butt to the gym after work and worked out for another 35 minutes. A total of about 3 miles walking and 1/2 a mile jogging.

After the gym I went to the library. (I had an overdue book .) And picked up some more books to get into, though I'm not sure how much time I'll have as everything seems to be so busy.

Then I went to Walmart to get some groceries. I came across these dips near the deli that looked good so I picked one out: Artichoke and Jalepeno. The container has 9 servings...

Stepped on the scale this morning

I know you should probably only weigh yourself once a week, but I stepped on the scale anyway.

I don't think it can actually be official until my official weigh in on Monday, but it looks like I'm down another 5. That happened quick! Today the scale read 165. Sweet! I just hope I can keep it there (or even lower) as the week progresses.

I think I'd like to stay on extended induction. I know you're not supposed to, that you need to move on to the other stages, but it just feels so good. Not only the losing weight part, but not feeling hungry, and not craving sweets....

my own rules have me blog at least once a week, to have a record for myself, but I had been doing it everyday, which was cool to me.

Raining all day, and busy at work.

3 bacon strips, 1 bratwurst, chipolte mustard
2oz roast beef, 1 cup lettuce, 1/8 cup cheese, 1/8 cup black olives, 1/8 cup bannana peppers, 2 Tablespoons ranch dressing
2 small steak medallions, 1/8 cup cheese, 1 tablesoon mayonaise, 1 tablespoon sour cream, 1 cup broccoli, butter, 1 tablespoon lemon juice
coffee 1/2 1/2 Splenda
19 carbs

30 minute mall walk....
