I used to Live Journal, but fell out of the habit, so this is going to satisfy my wandery need to ramble in type, as well as being a journal for the PLAN. Every time anyone starts a new way of eating, everyone I sure is always sure"This is it, the great solution." How many times have I thought that? How many times have you thought that. I in some way hate to do it again, for fear of looking foolish, so I ignored my increasing size, bigger jeans, and more lazing about instead of gym going.

Induction Day 2

Day two of induction has gone well. I didn't think I was going to have the motivation to go to the gym after working late, but I managed to get my butt in gear.

My workout was pathetic. I haven't been to the gym in over three weeks. I could normally do an hour of cardio and then some abs, etc. Today forty minutes and about 400 calories burned had me completely beat.

I'm consoling myself with the thought that I was burning 400 calories of fat though, as I haven't had a whole lot of carbs. Maybe 12 net?

For breakfast I had a 2 egg/1 slice of cheese omelet...

day four

I feel frustrated and restless. I'm not hungry however. I feel like I should be doing something and it's not there. I felt this way when I quit smoking. Is it possible I'm missing my food obsession? I think I am as crazy as that is. Well, so far today, tuna with my homemade mayo and fiber crackers. Then a protein shake with usual ingrediants and a carrot.

Oh yeah, I feel guilty eating. I mean anything, even the stuff I'm suppossed to be eating. How's that for nuts?

I did 52 minutes and worked out about 417 calories. Will do a full body workout tomorrow and then treadmill the day after, then I'm off for Tennessee. I will bring my dumbells with me to do some weight training but will do enough walking around while down there.

Friday , July 9th thru July 13th

Workout recap since last post.
Friday was 40min of cardio
Sat, I did evolution
Sun I rested
Mon I did the PM part of the AM/PM workout.
That was all that I was motivated to do - I was feeling discouraged because it seems like the weight will just not come off and I don't feel a change in my clothing. Today, I am feeling better. Last night when I was doing the PM portion of the work out, I felt that I was getting better at the technique and that made me happy - I felt so much better after my workout.

This morning I received a link to a good article...
