O Ketostix

Posted 06-15-2009 at 10:08 PM by Glendora
O Ketostix, O Ketostix,
I love to pee upon thee.
O Ketostix, O Ketostix,
I love to pee upon thee.

You're purple when I'm eating right,
And when I'm not, you just stay light,

O Ketostix, O Ketostix,
I love to pee upon thee.

Monday Monday, I just love that day

Posted 06-15-2009 at 08:25 AM by laurihill
Especially when the scale shows another weightloss for the week. Yeah. 190.8.....I ate tuna yesterday and just a salad for supper. Seems like when I eat tuna I lose weight. I don't know why. Got to remember to eat it a couple times a week.

Off to garden this morning.......

Breakthru!!

Posted 06-13-2009 at 07:11 PM by aussie_kat
Yep u heard it right...I have broken through the 2.5 year barrier, in 1 week i have gone from 126.8 down to 119.5.., thats 7.2kg in a week, or 15.8lbs in a week.yey I rock!! This is my lowest weight in over two whole years, and the longest I had stayed on plan also, with still no want to quit. I know I cant pull the same number again this week, but I am well on my way to below the 100's. Today, hubby is finally pulling my treadmill out for me, so will be adding in exercise, and I will be trying to cut out any not real lowcarb foods for the week. i dont want to go too crazy though, I still want...

Homemade Duathlon - 6/13/09

My BF and I decided to have our own Duathlon just to see how we could do. So we took our bikes to the River Walk which is a 4 mile one way paved trail. We parked on one end and rode our bikes to the other end and back for a total of 8.5 miles in 45 min. We both have mountain bikes with nubby tires, so I don't know how much difference that makes on pavement; and we had to maneuver around other bikers, joggers, and walkers. Afterwards we ran to the 1.5 mile mark and back for a 3 mile run. I completed it in 27:36 which is about my normal pace right now. So apparently the bike ride did not effect...
