Slim in 6

I just started slim in 6 today and wow my legs hurt. I never realized how out of shape i was. Im only 21 and well, i use to be in good shape. Not anymore! I wonder if there are any good tips anyone could give me to help with losing the weight and toning the muscles?!

Thank you so much for the encouraging comment Kep. You were surprised how I kept it off, well my job is very physical and I never really lost control again, I know that I feel much better e.g more energy, better moods and less cravings, when I eat low carb so I always kept it in check. Day 1 was tough. I decided to start this on a Saturday because when I travel that is my toughest day. I will not tell a lie at 6pm I was online saying whatever and ordering a pizza. Then something clicked in my head, I did not go through horrible cravings, peeing 30 times and saying no to the hotel brunch to...

Day 1

So today is the first day of my low carb lifestyle. I have done low carb before, 6 years ago actually, and I lost 50 pounds and have kept it off. I am ready to take off the rest. My current weight is 222, I'm 5'9 and just ready to let it go. I have a man who absolutely loves me, a great job, but my health has always been an issue, well we want to start trying to have kids, but I can't carry a baby with all this excess weight. I'll be turning 29 this year and have decided that maybe my lack of motivation will be cured by writing this blog. Knowing that other people are reading this will help...

The changing, sweet taste of success!

Oh yes! I am feeling different about my weight loss. As you all know, I have been stalled at 150lbs for the past month. I would like to lose another 5-10lbs but I have just been maintaining.

Here is the deal...this morning I stepped on the scale. I had an okay week...a couple of slips that I documented on here but nothing too serious. Last night we went out for dinner. I couldn't face another grilled beef/chicken/fish and veggies meal so I ordered a half order of Chicken Bacon Ranch Quesidillas with a side of brocolli. I ate 3/4 or it and gave the rest away. Sooo, back to...

I have been on the HHCG since late last month, and I have lost 23 lbs so far! I have been following your blogs all week just so I could get a feel for the "community" before joined. I can't wait to join-in on the interesting and often entertaining discussions here!
