What I Look at When I Don't Want to Work-Out

This is the photo I look at when I don't want to work-out...



Her name is Laura Dore and I think her body is incredible! Whether I will ever be able to achieve this is another story but this photo definitely motivates me to workout!

I've searched and searched and have been unable to find her workout and eating plan, so I guess I'll have to do what works for me. I did read that she works out with a trainer 6 days a week and Sunday she eats what she pleases.

If there's nothing to say that won't get one's neighbor ruffled, disgruntled or otherwise in a negative state, typically with a subtle insult or patronization thrown in just to make sure they've made a nice big impression, then it's just, well, not worth saying in such a person's eyes.

You can always tell the type. And I'd bet dollars to LC donuts that every person reading this is nodding his or her head and saying, "Yes. I know one of those."

Two words. Or one hyphenated phrase. Attention-seeking....

Triathlon Bound! - 6/9/09

I just suddenly decided to do a Triathlon. The decision to run a 5K was quite sudden too, but once the thought got in my head I knew I had to do it. So now I have to do a Triathalon.

Since I'm still a novice, I'll have to start small. I found one that is a 250 yard swim, 9 mile bike ride, then 3.1 mile run. I know I can do each of these things separately, but not sure how they will all come together!

I've talked my BF into doing our own "Duathlon." We're going to go to our 4 mile River Walk; ride our bikes back and forth 3 times for 12 miles leaving...

I'm Determind!!

I have been heavy most of my life. and now im tierd of it...I have came over alot of things in life. and pretty much woke up one morning and said to I myslef that I want to lose weight. that i do not want to be where i was 2 years ago.... you see even thou i do not think i am im an alcholic. I do not go to classes or anything. mostly i just go a week or so with no drinking and drink until a pass out... alot better then how i was two years ago.. where i would drink every day and for get about work..

but now.. i have finally seem to put all that behind me and want to go on wih my...

well its the 9th of June and I am at it again. Back to low carbing. I keep straying and keep coming back. I have remained around the same weight now for 2 years. between 121 and 128. So today im at 126. I have had today a glass of milk, (yes i know not low carb), eggs, yoghurt, and about to have some soup, cheese and mini quiches.
I am not going to keep to VLC, though I know from experience that I will keep going lower and lower until I break and then Its bad from there. But this time, It wont happen. It cant. My hubby is in on it too, I made him a fantastic lunch today and will be cooking...
