so.....here we go again

well its the 9th of June and I am at it again. Back to low carbing. I keep straying and keep coming back. I have remained around the same weight now for 2 years. between 121 and 128. So today im at 126. I have had today a glass of milk, (yes i know not low carb), eggs, yoghurt, and about to have some soup, cheese and mini quiches.
I am not going to keep to VLC, though I know from experience that I will keep going lower and lower until I break and then Its bad from there. But this time, It wont happen. It cant. My hubby is in on it too, I made him a fantastic lunch today and will be cooking...

"Can you eat that?"

Seems like this was the question of the weekend which was funny since someone else posted about this in the Lobby this morning .

On Friday, Anna and I went out for lunch. She is the picky one but when I asked her where she wanted to go...she started whining that I was the problem 'cause now I don't eat "bread and stuff". "I want pizza but you don't eat pizza!" she cried. SIGH! That's how I found myself in Tim's Pizza staring at a menu that has basically...beer, pizza, beer, pizza, etc. I ate one piece of a "mini" meathead...a little salad...

Im not losing...

I just finished week 2 and I only lost 2 pounds. The book says that I should have lost 8-10 pounds after my first 2 weeks. My friend is doing it with me and we work together. She has lost 8 pounds. Im not cheating. I just dont get it. What am I doing wrong ???? Im eating nuts, eggs, meat, cheese and veggies.

Pumpkin Seeds

I think I've been counting my pumpkin seeds wrong. My seeds say there are 4g carbs per 1/4 cup edible. Once I noticed that little word, I looked them up on Fitday and found that they have more carbs "unhulled" than "hulled".

So I've been undercounting my 'kin seeds, significantly. I've been eating 1/2 cup a day, thinking they only amounted to 8g. Actually, they're 16, all by themselves.

Live and learn! Same weight today as all last week: 173.8.
