Day 4 and still on fire

Posted 06-01-2009 at 10:36 PM by principessa54
Well its the end of day four and I stayed on plan. I had let's see . . . oh yeah a two egg creme this morning. Two mini quiches. 4 oz of chicken with mayo and two cheese sticks. I just got home from my ball game and its 9:35 and I am not hungry so I am not going to eat anything and just go to bed soon. I am staying off the scale until Saturday until TOM leaves.

Day 1 continues

Posted 06-01-2009 at 09:42 AM by Flaxman
I found the ellipticals a little bit intense for now so I went the treadmill way for about 30 minutes (8 minutes of that was a slow warm up) and decided not to do any strength training. Maybe tomorrow or Wednesday I will start to fit that in.

Wedding report...

Posted 06-01-2009 at 08:43 AM by Keptewe
It's good to have a plan...I had a plan and I MOSTLY stuck to it at the wedding. First of all...they served the yuckiest Sangria I ever tasted so I think I probably only had about a tablespoon of red wine diluted with a gallon of water...no problem with over comsumption of the booze! As for food...it was good for me because they served assorted cheeses, cold meat, olive tapenaude (?), spinach/artichoke dip and crackers and bread. So, it wasn't hard at all to eat LC...I just avoided the crackers and bread. It was a LITTLE challenging eating the dip off my LC finger instead of crackers...

Day 1 June 1 2009

Posted 06-01-2009 at 06:22 AM by Flaxman
This morning I am going to work out at the gym. My hope is to do 20 minutes on the eliptical and maybe another 20-30minutes on strength training machines but we'll see.

I am a little bit intrepid because of battling my asthma but I'll never know unless I go for it which is what I'm doing. It could be a good or bad turnout.

With being sick the last couple of weeks I got down to 350 lbs. from 360 and have stayed there so my goal is to get down to 330 by July 18th. when we go down to the Smoky's.

I will be trying to low carb it but balancing out with Dr. Greg Ellis' program. I'll consider this week 1. Start out with 2500 calories a day, try to maintain a good portion of proteins, fats and carbs but using exercise as a mainstay to trim the fat on my body....

Atkins Journey

Posted 06-01-2009 at 01:44 AM by Glendora
I know. Entirely uncreative thread title. I just got back from vacation, it's late at night and my Cute, Tongue-in-Cheek Thread Title Generator isn't working as well as usual.

Anyway...Melissa Joan Hart is my new hero. I was just reading about her weight loss after her two pregnancies. I used to adore the show Clarissa Explains it All (my oldest son and I would watch it on Nickelodeon with the rest of the Nick kid's schedule). I thought she was the cutest thing ever. AND we had the same hair. Yay!

Well, when I saw her "fat" (ouch!) photos,...
