End of the Day

Posted 05-28-2009 at 10:44 PM by principessa54
So I made it through the day. No cheats and only meat and eggs with some mayo. I played ball tonight so I got some exercise in. I am feeling good. I think I will take a magnesium though so I can sleep. I just got home and its 9:44 p.m. and I am wired.

Starting again

Posted 05-28-2009 at 09:11 AM by principessa54
Okay well today is day one yet again. I am so tired this morning though. It was another late night with watching my nephew play ball and I have a ball game tonight myself. I also have a tournament on the weekend and found out this morning I have three games on Saturday starting at 8:30 a.m.! Yikes.

Anyway, this morning I had 4 scrambled eggs and 1 tbsp cream cheese. I am full for sure. I have a chicken breast for lunch and about a 2 oz size of meatloaf for a snack. I made the meatloaf and its just ground beef, parmesan, egg and a bit of salsa so its legal.

Every time I make up my mind to stick to induction a piece of bread or sweet candy sneak into my willing hands. So I try to explain to myself, its OK everyone struggles, but what to do when your struggles keep packing on the pounds? A lot of other issues can basically be kept in the dark but a weight issue, is one that can be seen by all. This public display causes me tremendous grief as others watch the ballet, where I constantly gain and lose weight. My friends and family hold their...

Dairy and eczema?

Posted 05-28-2009 at 04:59 AM by frogfarm
Looks like I'm cutting dairy down/out just in time -- pulled some weeds in the garden yesterday and had to stop when my eczema flared up on my fingers and palms. I'm thinking it's aggravated by heat, but dairy seems to be a big factor. Hope it'll help.
