I will use this opportunity to introduce myself.

I'm HighlyFavored (Grad Student/Married/ No children)and I made a serious committment to changing my eating style as well as my body at the end of December 2008.

I didn't want to make it a New Year's Resolution as I've never followed through in the past .

Last year, I started to analyze myself in photos and was horrified and embarrassed. I also noticed that my friends were so much smaller than me and I started to feel uncomfortable...

My third 5K was called the Skirt Chaser 5K. The ladies run wearing a sports skirt and they start 3 min before guys. Then the guys try to catch up.

We got checked in and I put on the skirt on they gave me and it had a built-in panty that rides up your bum. There were over 700 runners registered for this event, mostly women.

The last race I was 4 min behind my BF, so I knew I had to tighten that up to less than 3 min or he'd be able to catch me. When I got closer to the finish line, I kept thinking, "I bet he is right behind me. I bet he sees...

So I did two days of induct and then my Mom called and gave me the gears about being a WW dropout and telling me to get back because it is the best thing for me. Blah, blah, blah. Well I went on Saturday and I was 1.5 from the two week prior weigh at WW when I dropped out. Well needless to say I was doing WW for the last four days and feel like crap. I am dizzy, along with light headedness and have heartburn. I never get heartburn. I think it is because I have been eating wheat this week.

So to heck with my Mama. I love her and everything but I am going back...

The wol is going well, no problems so far, in fact i feel great and empowered. but... I am not sleeping so well. I have posted a note on the message board to see if anyone has any suggestions. I'm tired and had a terrible day at work today... Hope I can sleep soon.
