ok, so i am new to atkins,and eating the lc way..its only been about three weeks,but, thankfully i found all of you..had many questions and after going through the post,i was able to realize the mistakes i was making and why i lost ten pounds and the stopped..i am suprised i even lost that..turns out all that cheese and calorie dense food should really be monitored.wish i knew that when i started..but, here i am...so glad to see how great you all look..it is such an inspiration to me..

Day 4 and I’m thanking God I don’t have a headache anymore. I was right about discussing this diet with my family because 1) they did notice the portions, and 2) turns out they were very supportive. My son was especially supportive and even made sure I wrote down the meals in my journal, he was also asking if what I was eating was allowed on the plan (so cute).

So, I survived the weekend and can’t wait to see what Friday brings.

On a side note, my mother also noticed my "diet" when we all went out to eat lunch on Saturday, and she...

Friday night we had a bake sale. It went well and I will use that money for my classroom.
Guess what?!?! My husband is doing hCG protocol!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so happy.
Saturday, my husband and I went hiking in the Valley of Fire (north of Vegas). After that, we ate at our favorite Mexican restaurant. I had a few chips/salsa because I was starving and a skinnygirl margarita! (it is basically silver Patron/fresh lime juice/a splash of triple sec)
For lunch, I ordered a Mexican Chicken Caesar Salad.
Later that night we got dressed up and did the town. ...

Oy. Not too bad for basically taking the week off. My dad came to visit for a week and we ate out a lot. Took a few trips off the deep end but still managed to do ok. Rode 5 days in a row to work last week; it’s been awhile since I’ve been able to do that. Drove dad to the airport this morning and now we’ll get back to normal life. Heh, normal.

I continue to get better at doing pushups. I’d be even better if I took more time to do them. I have starts and stops, but mainly I’m doing them when watching football games. Too bad my Gators aren’t scoring...
