Preparation Days....

The mind is willing.. or am I kidding myself? I really need to get things moving in a positive direction. I'm beginning to accept the limitations that my injury has caused... guilt is holding me back.... together with fear of failure.... I don't handle failure well... Where I have always been able to harness the inner spirit and muscle up and burn the cals... now not possible....or not just yet anyway.... I need to ensure that my regroup is complete or this won't work.... BUT I just can't go on waking up each day & realising that it's another fat day.... it leaves me panicked with no control....

Dinner

Was a juicy ribeye with a diet ginger ale. Today went very well, I am proud of myself for getting day one under my belt. I have to remember one day at a time. I did lc before and lost 56 pounds, I am trying to figure out what is making it so hard this time. I know when I did it before I was so committed and no one and I mean no one could make me cheat. I was just that focused and that's where I want to be again. I just have to take step by step and stop looking at the big picture because that tends to get a little over whelming sometimes. Meal Ideas

I'm sitting here thinking about this journey and what menu ideas I can come up with so I won't be tempted to eat bad things! As long as I'm armed with a variety of foods that I know I like, I will do fine.

Breakfast
Cheesy egg/mushroom puffs
Scrambled or fried eggs
Sausage or Bacon
Veggie/Turkey Omelette
Peaches/Apples/Strawberries
Sweet cinnamon nuts

Lunch or Dinner Main Course
Tuna/Chicken salad in lc wrap
Chili/Brunswick stew
Chicken, rotel and velveeta
Hot Dog, Hamburger,...

My Fitness Blog:

This week was sort of brutal. On Tuesday I left for Washington DC and just came home late last night. While I was there, I was hosting a class (not working at a computer), so Tuesday and Wednesday were a lot of standing, walking, hauling boxes of materials, etc. Thursday - Saturday were sightseeing days, so I was walking quite a bit all three days. Those activities aren't recorded in my workout because I don't have a BodyBugg (yet!) The most important thing is that this morning I jumped right back into my exercise routine!

Ok so far today I have eaten:

gb pattie
coffee w/hwc
1 boiled egg 3 bacons

dinner will probably be a ribeye. Hopefully that will be enough food for the day. I will keep everyone posted. So far I am feeling pretty good, not hungry. More of a mind thing then anything.
