Lean for Life - Week 1/Day 4 (8/21/08)

Checked in the morning and I'm down 2 more lbs. Weeeeee... Of course, now I'm back to where I SHOULD have been when I started. But it's a victory nonetheless!

My first mini goal is 225 because it's the lowest weight I've been in over 10 years. It's only 9 lbs away. I can so totally do it!

I added fruits and veggies (somewhat) yesterday. In light of Friday's birthday cake, I still didn't want to add too many carbs. (Warning: I already bought some grapes before I found out they weren't allowed. Why not? The calorie and carb counts are the same as an orange or...

Day 4

Well, it has been some time. I have been doing very well in the food department. Low carbs is not a cheap way to eat. But one must I guess. I am still having issue with my exercise. I LOVE my yoga tape but it takes an hour to get the full effect. Last night I had to rush home and mow the yard as this TS Fay is coming and my grass was way to tall.
Well, work is inturrpting my blog time so I have to go

grilled chicken breast
lettuce/tomato/pickle/1 slice onion
mayo/mustard

later (6 a.m.)...
2 eggs, scrambled
tomatos, ham (diced, mixed in eggs)

10 a.m.
Tall coffee
cream/splenda (I am SURE that the shop added more cream than I requested)

Dinner (5:30 p.m.)
8 oz. Prime Rib
1 c. green beans
2 c. lettuce with cheese topping,
oil/ vinegar dressing
Diet coke

Today, I feel like a pig! I can't believe that I am saying this, but...I don't...

No Bun.

Dinner (6:30 p.m.)
11 oz. sirloin
2 c. salad w/bacon and cheese topping
oil/ red wine vinager dressing
1 c. sauteed mushrooms
Diet coke

Deja' Vu. I ate this for dinner yesterday, too.

Three weeks after start

Disappointing week with only a loss of .4lb but have been cheat free and on induction. Have walked the treadmill twice doing .5 ml and once .6ml. It is a start. Will try to increase that this week. My blood sugar has stabilized and that has to be good. I am also feeling lighter and clothes slightly ever so slightly looser. Onto the next week hoping for a better result
