Back to normality

The flush is done. Loads more stones came out, this time more tan/brown coloured than before. Lots of white flaky stuff too which I think is candida. Anyway... it's done, I'm done and back to the normal routine of proteins and fats and veggies and hopefully less frequent visits to the toilet!

So, a test this morning. I have had eggs for breakfast. Scrambled with butter and cheese. The combination of food that was giving me grief. This was half an hour ago and so far, no belly ache. I will report back but I will be jumping for joy if the discomfort has calmed down! I'm going...

Can't imagine

Posted 07-22-2008 at 07:20 PM by Maja
I've been thinking about clothes lately and weight in general. I have been overweight all my life, even as a child, teen and adult. I don't remember being under a size 16 EVER. I'm sure when I was a kid i was smaller but I don't remember it.

I don't remember ever being able to shop in places other then plus size stores.
I can't even imagine what it would be like to walk into ANY store and pick out something that I LIKE and buy it. Instead of going to the only store that carries my size, picking out something because it fits and getting it because I have nothing to wear....

I havent been following it religiously though. I mean that I have eaten no bread of any type, not white flour products at all, no regular sugar either. I have eaten a few things that may not have been phase one friendly, like Regular Cream Cheese...and Roast Beef Lunch Meat...unsure of those. Ive had a couple glasses of wine also, which is a no no, maybe this has slowed me down, dont know. I may have lost more had I not eaten or...

Eating like an Egyptian (or a Greek, or an Italian, etc)

Posted 07-22-2008 at 09:50 AM by fluffybear2
What is it abut the countries surrounding the Mediterranean Sea that makes their eating so healthy? For one thing, the climate is just about perfect. An almost year-round sunny growing season with just the right amount of moisture helps ensure an abundance of healthy crops. Both France and Italy are known for their delicious wines. Red wine contains a phytonutrient that is an anti-carcinogen. Consuming only one glass of red wine, or if you prefer, red grape juice daily may help you fight off cancer. Many other fruits which cannot be grown further north also are very beneficial to health. Another...
