Wow I can't believe how long it's been!

I lost half a stone. I was doing well, then it stopped. I was having yoghurt for brekky. Decided to weigh it yesterday, OOOOOH 300mg and at 7.5g carbs par 100ml that means I have been having over 21g carbs before I have started the day!!!!!

Yoghurt finished now. But I ought to have some for the calcium. How on earth will I make myself only have a teensy-weensy bit?

My legs are slimmer. And I feel I have a better shape. BUt I am still big in the belly. Atilla tapped it yesterday and commented on how wobbly it was. He's never done that before and I...

So this morning, day 3 of induction, I stepped on the scale.....and noticed I am already down 3lbs!!! After that wonderful discovery I came across one of those million calorie muffins (I feed them to my husband, because unlike me, he needs to gain some weight.) and the only thing I could think about was 'its not worth it!' yay! I don't want carbs now that I am beginning to see some results.

But I must confess, I did have about 20 nuts last night...I think they are the hardest to give up. So to avoid further temption from those little nuggets of goodness, I had my husband...

Monthly weight loss

Starting weight March - 270 lbs
Loss:
* March 10 lbs - 260 lbs
* April 5 lbs - 255 lbs
* May 5 lbs - 250 lbs
* June 4 lbs - 246 lbs
* July 4 lbs - 242 lbs

I WISH I could lose about 5 lbs/month. That would be sooo awesome. It doesn't seem like a lot but it does add up. That way my skin would have time to catch up to my shrinking and hopefully I woun't need major plastic surgary when I get to goal.

Trading the scale in for a measuring tape.

So my battle with the number on the scale has yielded nothing but frustration. I have been playing groundhog day for the last few weeks in spite of my efforts for change. I have been very strict in recording all of my food, eating the right food and the right portions. I have been doing my workout and increasing at the pace suggested. But today I went the wrong direction in the scale movement. From 153.9 to 154.1. It's only by less than a pound, but it's movement in the wrong direction all the same. Before I got out the chocolate, I got out the tape measure. Lo and behold, I found the movement!...
