Giving myself a high five...

Posted 05-28-2008 at 07:43 PM by KCamp

Had a bad day yesterday. Almost caved in to icecream in th freezer. I was down in the dumps and felt really bad. I talked myself out of it though...Yeah me. I am not going to let my cravings win this time. I am tired of being fat and unhealthy. It's time for a change.

Day 2

Posted 05-28-2008 at 07:42 PM by laurihill
Day 2 of induction went well. I had the same breakfast I always have. It is fast and easy, and keeps me full till dinner. For dinner it was a cup of coleslaw and 2 hamb. patties. I usually only eat one, but I was hungry today. My snack was jello with cream cheese and a small handful of almonds. Supper was a chicken breast and a wonderful salad with my homemade french dressing and blue cheese dressing mixed together. Yummy. Now I am so tired it is off to bed early. Day 2 in my Beck Diet solution.......

Free starbucks Wednesday!

Posted 05-28-2008 at 07:07 PM by feather319
Thank goodness today was Wednesday. Last night I couldn't sleep. I did great on calories before bed but I couldn't fall asleep for 3 hours! I think I have nighttime eating disorder because I can't sleep unless my tummy is full. I get up at night and eat all the time. It isn't until recently that I have realized that I've been doing this. I gorge on food in the middle of the night, especially yogurt. Weird.

Today I was sooo tired from not getting any sleep. No workout today. I did however bike ride for an hour after work. It was a great ride.

Really new at this blogging stuff, but here goes...

Posted 05-28-2008 at 06:24 PM by grandmoo
I know this is a weight-loss community, but I need to share this "somewhere" and you guys are it-LOL.

I am taking Chantix and quit smoking on Memorial Day. Day 1 was not bad, yesterday, day 2, totally sucked! I was a ciggy craving fool all day. Today however, I only had a couple of grit my teeth cravings, so I'm going to say I'm getting there!

I've also been having the vivid (technicolor?) dreams/nightmares that come with the Chantix, {sigh}. I'll finish it out for the month and then only take it in the mornings and see if that helps my sleep while still...
