Wild week

W/ my mother in the hospital and my having to have a phlebotomy treatment I am very fatigued the last 3 days. I was forced to take the last 2 days off from exercising and it's freaking me out.

I am trying to get a grip because this is a LIFESTYLE change and my life is difficult w/ health issues which is how I gained this weight in the first place. So I really need to give myself a break for laying down for 2 days and eating most of my WPA's. The truth is I needed the calories to regain my strength.

I am still On Program but I was OP last week and gained a pound...

Sex and the City day!

Went to see the Sex and the City film today (also saw The Strangers..it was film day..yay!). I packed some LC goodies including beef jerky, homemade cheese crisps (from Linda's recipe..sooo yummy!) and some pumpkin seeds. I had a huge diet coke but other than that I was very good today.

Am not weighing until Tues because two weeks is up on Mon but I have a huge all day job that starts at 5:30am..eek. Its going to be a really hard carb day too because I have to pack stuff, they will for sure cater but its always frou frou sandwiches with one piece of meat and cut in half. No sleep...

It's Friday!

TGIF!

Thursday I had an AM doc appt and found out I have an abnormal liver. Better lay off that Aleve!!!

Had a crappy cardio session yesterday as I didn't eat properly beforehand. woke up 15 minutes before my doctor's appt and rushed there only grabbing 1/2 scoop whey protein and 1 egg. I was there for an 1.5 hours and went straight to the gym. Not only was my sodium really low, I was hungry and lacking energy severely!!!

After eating and working (took PTO 4 hours) I went home and did "The Firm total body shaping mix."...

Day 4......Give yourself some love

People who struggle with their weight tend to be hard on themselves. Instead of viewing slips as mistakes and thinking how they can can solve the problems next time, they tell themselves they are week, or bad.

So now we have to tell ourselves that we are doing good. When we get through a meal and stay on plan, think or say out loud things like "good", or I'm doing great.

Choose a positive word or phrase and write it down different places where you will see it. When you see it go through what positive things you have done today and give yourself credit....

My "keep it out of the house" list.

Some may call it a trigger food list as well. Or "red light" foods.

I have to add cheddar cheese mini rice cakes to the list. Those things are just too darn good. I bought a bag on Tuesday and it was gone on Wednesday. No control whatsoever!

So along with all things that come in chips go the rice cakes.

I like the salty things. Even better the cheesy salty things.
